The best thing about Baldock, other than the pubs, is the fact that there used to be a GIANT associated with the town. His name was Jack O'Legs and he was from the 14th century. Some say he was a bit like Robin Hood in that he robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. I'd have called him Jack O'Legend if I'd been in charge back then. On the pub front, however, this place has got a few gems for watching sport (See below). The beers always good and the service is great. What more could you want?
